Cantique des cantiques Nederlands Kamerkoor

With Le cantique des cantiques by Daniel-Lesur, the Netherlands Chamber Choir, under the direction of Swedish conductor Sofi Jeannin, presents an important work from the 20th-century choral repertoire. The piece is based on the Biblical Song of Songs, in which two people sing of their love and desire and praise each other's beauty. This timeless work does not revolve around a story, but around the interplay of desire and fulfillment, distance and reunion.
