Grieg's Peer Gynt is inspired by Norwegian folk music, in which the Hardanger fiddle is the instrument of choice. It is only logical that Hardanger virtuoso Ragnhild Hemsing created an arrangement. Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings is pure romanticism. This Sunday Morning Concert is very suitable for young visitors (10+).
