Mata, the 13-member collective brings together 5 horns, a string quartet, vibraphone/double bass/drums as rhythm section, and electronics in a sound world where structure and spontaneity coexist.Ester’s compositions function as open frameworks in which musicians shape the music in real time through listening, interaction, and collective decision-making.
